Megeen R. Mulholland received her Ph.D. from the University at Albany. She is an English Professor at Hudson Valley Community College, where she serves on the Campus Poetry Project. She is interested in interarts literature, creating dialogues between oral narrative and visual art. Her poem “Mourning” was included in the inaugural Poetic Justice—Albany presentation of the Upstate Artist Guild at the Art Associates Gallery. Her work was also selected for this year’s “Write Out Loud” event sponsored by the Fenimore Art Museum. She has published widely in literary journals, and her books of poetry, Crossing the Divide and Orbit, published by Finishing Line Press, feature ekphrastic poetry inspired by snapshot photography. Her work has been deemed “a fascinating arrangement of text and image.”
